Check out The Gorgeous Flowers at The Flower Fields in Carlsbad

It's that time again when the flowers bloom and show off their beauty for all to see at

The Flower Fields in Carlsbad.

Let me tell you all about this gorgeous place if you have never been. If you have been, you know what I'm referring to when I say it is beyond breathtaking there!

It's one of my favorite places, and I get so excited when it opens for the season.

So you could imagine how excited I was when we got invited to attend with the @sdmommybloggertribe @iemommybloggertribe for a day of fun and beauty.

Every Visit to The Flowers Fields, I get the same warm, loving feeling. I feel like God reached down from the heavens and created this beautiful masterpiece for all to see. Of course, I had to dress us in flowers. (Though you can't really tell, my son left his jacket on, kids!)

"The blooming of 50-acres of ranunculus flowers"

"For over sixty years, Mother Nature has transformed the rolling hills of North San Diego County into one of the most spectacular and coordinated displays of natural color and beauty anywhere in the world."

I know it takes hard work, loving care, and maintenance to produce all the gorgeous flowers around the fields for us to enjoy. And with profound thankfulness and gratitude, I appreciate what everyone's role is to make the Flowers Fileds the spectacular, amazing beautiful place it is to visit.

It's purely stunning.

The flower fields are open until May 8th,

so there's plenty of time to visit and enjoy a day in paradise.

Kids also love The Flower Fields!

They can explore acres of flower blooms on foot, enjoy a wagon ride, get lost in the sweet pea maze, mine for gems at the Carlsbad Mining Company, or play on Santa's Playground! Which we did.

The Sweet Pea Maze

We were also treated to a wagon ride around the fields on this day. The wagon ride is an additional cost to your entry fee.

Mining (it's an additional cost also.)

Fun on the Playground

Sometime during your visit, you have to stop off at the Strawberry Stand and get some refreshing treats. The chocolate-covered strawberries were so good.

Please check The Flower Fields website for more additional information and all activities.

They even have an American Flag of flowers. It's beautiful. I did my best across

the way to capture it.

For your visit, I would recommend:

1) Plan to get there early, Parking fills up fast, plus it gets hot in the afternoon.

2) Bring a hat and wear comfortable shoes.

3) Pack snacks and most definitely water bottles.

4) If you can, take the wagon ride right when you walk in, Enjoy the fields

6) Enjoy walking around and exploring all that the place offers.

7) Play on the playground

8) Go mining for some precious stones

9) End your day with a sweet treat from the strawberry stand.

10) Have a great family day and take lots of pictures
