It wasn't just another day in our household. It was a day that we had tickers for Knott's Taste of Merry Farm. I've been excited about this event from the moment I purchased the tickets.
It was a day where all my four kids and I would be together, which isn't often. My older ones are off on their own with their busy lives. When I asked if they wanted to go and they said yes, it made the day so much more special.
I love the holidays. Christmas is my favorite time of year. You could imagine my excitement to visit Knott's Taste of Merry Farm. And let me tell you, Knotts did not disappoint and pulled out all the Christmas Cheer in the world. That's how it felt to me. While being in the park, you could look in any direction and see and feel the Christmas spirit.
Even on their Tasting card was some holiday tastings. Christmas spirit was all around.
The tasting card has over 60+ choices of deliciousness.
For each adult card, you get to select five tastings. I am not sure why I am saying tasting. It was more full-size orders.
I would suggest only order one item and share. That's what we did. This way, you get to try different things if you and your partner/kids share the food items. The child's tasting card is for a selection of three. Of course, their tasting card doesn't have the "adult" items on them like a margarita, now that's not one I didn't want to share with hubby.
One of the best moments was seeing Santa.
Make sure you make a reservation. You can't see Santa without one. As soon as we entered the park, we headed over to the Town Hall to get in line to make the reservation. Our time was about an hour away, so we looked at our tasting cards and set out to start tasting. My daughter was the leader of the pack. She leads our way to which items to try. I couldn't make up my mind. It all sounded so good.
Everything we tried tasted wonderful. When Our time for Santa approached, we got in line and saw Santa. I always love seeing Santa, maybe more than my kids. Something about the magic of the holiday, the twinkling lights, the music, the sparkly decorations, and of course SANTA.
Santa was socially distanced and wearing a mask. We were allowed to remove our mask for the pictures. After each family sat and took their photographs, the area was cleaned and sanitized for the next family.
Safety and health is a high priority for our family. I am always cautious. Having two boys on the spectrum, they always want to touch everything, and my little one doesn't understand anything about this pandemic and the virus.
When I see Knotts taking all these precautions for my family's safety, I can feel comfortable and rest assured they care. After each person got up from an eating table, a Knotts employee was right there to clean and sanitize the table. The friendliness of Knotts people from the entryway to inside was full Christmas cheer.
Knotts' Taste of Merry Farm was the best and can put the Christmas spirit even in my grinch of a boy.

While the theme park remains closed, Christmas spirit still shines bright this year with holiday charm brimming out of every corner of the park, as Knott's wondrously transforms with enchanted décor, thousands of twinkling lights, miles of festive garland, and a variety of picturesque holiday settings, all serving as a backdrop to the tastiest holiday foods around.
With over 60 unique food and drink items offered on the tasting card, guests can choose from popular flavors of the season like Fully Loaded Turkey Dinner Tater Tots and Comet's Cinnamon Bun with a Maple Glaze and Candied Pecans, plus options for all dietary preferences. Guests can take care of their holiday shopping at Knott's one-of-a-kind stores filled with exclusive Knott's specialty items or discover rare, handmade, and personalized gifts from over 23 artisan local crafters, including Knott's famous glassblower and chainsaw carver.
The only way to experience the limited time Knott's Taste of Merry Farm is with a tasting card purchased in advance at knotts.com (a tasting card is required for event entry). Scheduled dates are November 20-29, December 4-6, December 11-13, December 18-24, December 26-30, and January 1-3. General Event hours: 12 pm to 9 pm. Select dates event hours: 12 pm to 8 pm on November 29, December 6, December 13, December 24, and January 3.
Adult tasting cards (ages 12+) are priced at $40 (plus tax) and will include five food tastings, and Junior tasting cards (ages 3-11), including three food tastings, are $20 (plus tax). Tasting cards are date specific and must be purchased online at knotts.com or through the Knott's Berry Farm mobile app prior to the date of visit. Knott's Taste of Merry Farm hotel packages are also available at Knotts.com. In order to manage proper physical distancing of guests, Knott's Taste of Merry Farm tasting cards will be limited each day and may sell out.
