Sesame Street Live! Let's Party! Review

Did you get a chance to see Sesame Street Live! Let’s Party? It came to SoCal Jan 12 and 13th at the Citizens Business Bank Arena.

I was so happy to be invited to view the show. I thought my little, who loves music, would enjoy it most. Though my older one enjoyed it more. Both boys had a great time seeing the show. I will admit my little guy's attention span doesn't last long, so he got a little wiggly. I'm happy to say he made it through the show and many parts did catch his attention.

My older one watched and thoroughly enjoyed it. After the show, I asked my oldest, did you like it? His response, "Oh yes, except the end." I was taken back and thought he didn't like the confetti and singing? When I questioned him, he replied, "It was kind of rude." Again, not sure what he meant I had to ask again, "What part was rude?" His reply, "When Oscar the Grouch came out at the end after it was over and said scram, go home." Oh, I said, that's just Oscar and we both laughed.

"From the moment the curtain rose, parents and children alike are on their feet dancing along to a pop-infused soundtrack with new Sesame Street friends and live emcees Casey and Caleb. Planning a party isn’t easy when everybody has a different idea of fun, but with some help from the audience, it becomes the ultimate reflection of what friendship plus teamwork can accomplish. We sang along to new and familiar songs, like “I Love Trash” and “C is for Cookie,” with Oscar the Grouch and Cookie Monster; dance to the beat with Elmo; explore a wintry wonderland when Abby Cadabby’s magic goes awry; take flight with Big Bird to learn about some of his fabulous feathered friends, and discover new cultures in an interactive Spanish lesson with Rosita. "

It was such a great family morning.
