The holiday spirit is upon us, and what better way to embrace it than by visiting Tanka Farms?

Tanka Farms is one of our favorite places to visit during the holidays and throughout the year. The Hikari Festival is beautiful; they put in so much effort to transform the farm into something magical for the holidays, complete with a visit from Santa Claus.
My kids have grown up visiting Tanka Farms, though being on the spectrum is always a new experience, and we never know how our visit will be. I love this picture of Santa talking with my boy.
I want to give a massive shout-out to Tanka Farms for being autism-friendly. Everyone was accommodating and worked well with us. We had no issues, and Santa was incredibly patient with my boys. Visiting places like this is truly a blessing.
We played some games, and my son won a plush monkey that he named "Joe." Joe became a highlight of the night, bringing so much Christmas joy to my son. I could see how proud he was of winning this little monkey. Sometimes, the small things in life make the most significant impact.
The tractor ride around the farm was magical. It wasn't just a simple ride; Tanaka Farms went above and beyond to capture the holiday spirit. There were twinkling lights everywhere, the lighting of the tree, a stunning tunnel of lights, and even Santa's workshop, complete with elves.Â
As we approached the farm's top, we were led out to walk the rest of the way and experience the lights on foot. It's always such a beautiful, magical time at the farm.
My boys' favorite part of the experience was the lighted squares around the Christmas tree. He truly enjoyed himself in that atmosphere. He would wave to others and say hi. This mama's heart was filled with love, knowing he was having a good time at the farm. It blessed me immensely. Many places need to be more autism-friendly, and sometimes, staff can be rude, but Tanaka Farms is not one of those places. That's why we keep returning; it's one of the friendliest environments for our family.
I can't forget to mention the farm animals; they are always so happy to see guests passing by and are very friendly.

Every admission ticket includes:Â Unlimited wagon rides, access to the Barnyard, various photo ops and light displays, interactive light tunnel, corn maze, access to the Tanaka Grill, and on weekends only, live entertainment.
